   In December, 1959, a dinner was given to honor State Assembly Speaker, Joseph F. Carlino. The dinner raised over $80,000 for the New York City and Nassau Chapters. Mr. Carlino is pictured here just after receving the award, with Nassau County Republican Leader John Russell Sprague at his right. Identifiable on the platform behind him, and to his right are Max Schachter and George G. Hirsch.
