   AHRC New York City Cub Scout Pack No. 529, Boy Scouts of America, at the charter presentation on December 17, 1953. There were four packs with scouts ranging from 8 to 14 years of age. This was the first Cub Scout Pack for children with mental retardtion east of the Mississippi River who did not reside in a state or private school.
